Privacy during the beta

RoadTripDesk stores the account information and trip-planning data you provide so the service can operate. This can include your name, email address, trip names, stops, notes, plan/subscription information, consent records, security events and beta feedback.

Technical data

For security, troubleshooting and abuse prevention, RoadTripDesk may record technical information such as IP address, browser/user-agent, login events and application error references. Transactional emails are recorded in an outbox with delivery status.

Service providers

The beta is hosted using cloud infrastructure and may use external mapping, routing, accommodation and email providers when those features are used. Data sent to those providers is limited to what is needed for the requested function.

Retention and deletion

RoadTripDesk includes account and trip retention controls. Beta data may also be removed as part of testing or maintenance. Do not use the beta as the only copy of important travel information.

Your choices

You can update your account information and withdraw optional newsletter consent from your account. For privacy or deletion questions, contact info@roadtripdesk.com.

Note: This is the operational closed-beta text and should receive a formal legal review before a broad public/commercial launch.
